A well-designed kitchen does more than look beautiful. It supports the way your family lives every single day.

When we began this Westlake remodel, our clients' kitchen was outdated and no longer functional for a growing family. There was no clear home for the essentials, from coffee cups and water bottles to extra snacks and proper wine storage. We redesigned the space around their everyday routines, planning dedicated spots for charging phones and devices where they naturally gather and sizing cabinetry to fit even their extra-large water bottles. No detail was overlooked.

This is what livable luxury means to us: creating spaces that feel beautiful, intentional, and tailored to real life.

We also selected durable, timeless materials designed to stand up to everyday family use and worked closely with our trade partners to make enhancements that support the home's long-term value.

This is our fifth project with these clients, and that continued trust is one of the most rewarding parts of our work 🩷

Born and raised in beautiful Sarasota, Florida, Brandy received her undergraduate degree from George Washington University and brings a background in full-service interior design from working with high-end residential clients. Her prior experience at a luxury interior design firm in her hometown helped her develop a strong appreciation for thoughtful details, elevated design, and creating spaces that are both beautiful and functional.

Having directed personal home renovations in both Florida and Ohio since starting a family of her own, Brandy understands firsthand the emotions, decisions, and investment that go into creating a home that truly supports the way people live — not just creating spaces that follow trends. She loves beautiful spaces and thoughtful details, but is most drawn to homes that feel warm, personal, lived in, and reflective of the people within them. To Brandy, great design is not just about perfection; it is about how a space makes people feel and the memories created within it. She values intentional design and believes every room, regardless of size, should be carefully considered to maximize both function and comfort.

Brandy brings a design background with a strong understanding of the many decisions, details, coordination efforts, and documentation required to execute a successful project from start to finish. She especially enjoys the behind-the-scenes process of design and loves seeing a project come together in real time from the initial concept through final installation.

Outside of work and house projects, Brandy enjoys exploring parks with her husband, two-year-old daughter, and chocolate lab, trying new restaurants, and dreaming up future travel plans.

If we haven't met yet, I'm glad you're here! 💗 I'm Natalie, Principal Designer and CEO of CNC Home & Design. When I’m not designing, you can likely find me reading a book, fitting in an early morning Peloton workout, or making my go-to vanilla cold foam iced latte.

After decades of experience in project management, I found myself at a turning point in my career when I became a new mom, and wanted to find work that sparked my creativity and felt more aligned with my values…and on New Years Day 2018, CNCH&D was born!

With organization as my superpower (just ask any of our clients!), my goal is to not only bring livable luxury to our clients by creating more beautiful and functional homes, but to also provide an intentional, thoughtful experience along the way.

The most rewarding aspect of my job is when we have repeat clients—the families who return for their second, third, or even fifth projects. Knowing that we’ve delivered on those goals and more, and have truly impacted how they live within their homes makes it all worth it!

There is one rule we sometimes break, and we do it intentionally.

When a client has an heirloom piece that matters to them, we try and find a way to incorporate it into their space’s design. A piece that carries meaning does not necessarily need to be dismissed, so we may be able to design around what our clients value, or help them find a new designated place for the piece in their home.

A home that reflects who you are will always feel more right than one that follows every rule perfectly.

Designing a laundry room your family actually wants to spend time in requires a higher standard than most homeowners think to set—and it was exactly the one that guided this renovation.

This room works for the family in two ways: as a laundry room built for the demands of a weekly routine, and as a mudroom that absorbs the rhythms of coming and going. Every detail was designed around how the family actually uses the space, from the built-in cubbies that hold backpacks and winter gear to the washer positioned to handle the mess before it reaches the rest of the home.

This is what it looks like when function and design are considered together from the start.

This project has been one of the most rewarding full-service renovations we have completed to date—a whole-home transformation designed around the way this family actually lives.

This living space was designed to be both visually cohesive and genuinely functional for a growing family. The selections we made including performance fabric, a timeless neutral palette, and light oak finishes, make this room polished and livable in equal measure.
